Snowblind 04:40
All the things that you have discovered In the air And all the things that you can not see It's atmosphere The lights and sounds are so overwhelming Have no fear All the things that were meant to happen Will happen here You have waited oh so long Do not despair But all the years have hit you hard Are you aware? The system can't correct itself It is severe This snowblind soul is in the cold Beyond repair

[Observer] Those adrift at sea might sight it, See shelter from the storm. And moor their ship and wander This island long forlorn. “At long last we’ve made it!”, The captain did declare, Unb'knownst to him the dreary Night that's to become his lair. [Sirens] For when night has fallen And sleep comes to them all, That sweetest wail will beckon From that cold, remorseless mare. See, this island hides a secret That few have lived to share. The captain’s men shall know it As they’re driven to despair. [Observer] The sirens, unforgiving Escort them to their graves, A gentle chant now guides them To a realm beyond these waves Day breaks on the island And silence greets the shore, But a lone ship to remind us What befell the night before. [Observer] Many moons have passed since And that ship no longer stands, On the horizon, two lost seamen Revel upon what they’ve chanced: “At long last we’ve made it!” Shouts the fellow to his mate. As they celebrate their fortune The sirens lie in wait. [Sirens] For when night has fallen And sleep comes to them all, That sweetest wail will beckon From that cold, remorseless mare. See, this island hides a secret That few have lived to share. Our sailors will soon know it As they’re driven to despair

about

An ambient synth-based EP that explores the cold, desolate remnants of a world once inhabited by humans, and the machines that now hold the only records of their existence.

- Isdalen
Facing the imminent collapse of human civilisation, the last of the survivors struggle but manage to build a digital vault of human knowledge and experience in what is now a frigid, barren and desolate world. "Isdalen", they hope, will be found by other sentient beings in the future, who would then at least know humans once existed.

- Silicon Navigator
In the coldest, frozen regions of what used to be the North Atlantic, abanoned machines are starting to spark back to life. Could they learn to navigate through this harsh new world?

- Snowblind
Not too long after the fall of human civilisation, a complex machine abandoned deep in the snow starts becoming sentient, only to come to terms with its own physical decay.

- Island (At Long Last)
Human society has long since ceased to exist but legends and stories remain with machines that were once tasked to store them. They repeat them in strange robotic anthems constructed with bits of data recovered from the Isdalen vault. This one tells of an island in that promised respite to sailors who found themselves caught in a storm out at sea, but which hid a dark secret.
